These terms apply when you use Spotdisco. By creating an account, you agree to them.

Who we are

Spotdisco is a trade name of Clupea Code. KvK (Dutch Chamber of Commerce) number: 86262637. Email: info@spotdisco.com.

What Spotdisco does

Spotdisco gives you a page on spotdis.co where you show the products you recommend, with the links you already use. We read product details from shop pages, count visits and clicks, and tell you when a linked product sells out or a link stops working.

During the pilot, Spotdisco is free. Before we ask you to pay for anything, you'll see the price and decide for yourself.

Your account

• You must be at least 16, and use Spotdisco for your own social media accounts or for those you manage with the owner's permission.
• Keep your login details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
• The information you give us must be correct.

Your links and your commission

• Your links stay yours. We send every tap to the link you added, unchanged. We never change a link without your yes.
• Your affiliate accounts are your own. You're responsible for following the rules of the platforms and networks whose links you use, including registering your page where they ask you to.
• We don't guarantee commission. Whether a sale is credited to you is decided by the shop or network, not by us. We can't promise that every click or sale is tracked.
• Advertising rules. Affiliate links are advertising. Your page shows a notice that it contains affiliate links; you remain responsible for disclosing advertising in your own posts, as the Dutch advertising code (Reclamecode Social Media) asks.

Your content

• What you put on your page (photos, texts, links) stays yours. You give us permission to store, show and adapt it (for example resize photos) as far as needed to run Spotdisco and show your page. This permission ends when you remove the content or your account, apart from backups that are deleted within 30 days.
• You may only use content you have the rights to.
• Product details and images come from the shops. We show them to link to the product. If a shop asks us to remove them, we will.

What isn't allowed

You may not use Spotdisco to:

• break the law, or infringe on other people's rights;
• pretend to be someone else;
• spread spam, scams, phishing or malware, or link to them;
• show content that is hateful, violent, sexually explicit or aimed at minors in a harmful way;
• disrupt Spotdisco, or access it in ways we haven't offered.

If a page breaks these rules, we may take it offline or close the account. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. Anyone can report a page through the link at the bottom of it.

Availability and changes

We do our best to keep Spotdisco running and your page online, but we can't guarantee it will always work without interruption. We may change or stop features. If we stop Spotdisco altogether, we'll tell you at least 30 days in advance, so you can save your data and change the link in your bio.

Liability

We're liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect damage such as lost commission or income, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the damage, or €100 if that is higher. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in your settings. We may end your account with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously break these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll tell you by email at least 30 days before the change applies. If you don't agree, you can delete your account before then.

Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. If we disagree, we'd like to hear from you first at info@spotdisco.com. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands.

If the Dutch and English versions of these terms differ, the Dutch version applies.
